Professional Activities and Experience
Mr. Fairweather is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association; the Dane County Bar Association; and the Labor and Employment Law Sections of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the American Bar Association. Mr. Fairweather has been admitted to practice in the Federal District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin.
Mr. Fairweather has represented clients in state and federal courts and administrative agencies in a variety of litigation matters. Mr. Fairweather has represented both labor and management, appearing before the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, the Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission, the Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing, the National Labor Relations Board and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunities Commission.
Mr. Fairweather represents clients in consumer litigation, including residential and commercial lease matters and claims under Wisconsin's marketing and trade practices laws. He also advises clients regarding collection and credit issues under federal and state laws. He regularly volunteers for the Dane County Bar Association's Small Claims Assistance Program and is a member of the Board of Directors of the General Practice Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin.
