Curt Pawlisch is a Partner in the firm.  His practice areas include Governmental Affairs and Energy & Telecommunications. He brings 30 years experience with state government as a legislative aide and lobbyist and 15 years experience in energy and telecommunications. Mr. Pawlisch and the firm represent numerous wind energy developers, assisting them with all phases of project development, including obtaining required state and local approvals, negotiating purchase power agreements and the acquisition of real estate interests. He also advocates on their behalf at the state capitol where he currently is championing legislation to create a uniform siting standards law for wind energy and a strengthened Wisconsin Renewable Portfolio Standard.

In the area of telecommunications, Mr. Pawlisch is one of state's foremost advocates for advancing the interests of competitive local phone companies at the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin and at the state capitol. On behalf of consumers, he has appeared in numerous rate and construction cases at the PSCW. He also has represented clients before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the Federal Communications Commission.
